Football Game Recap: Newport vs. Kearsarge/Mount Royal Academy

Kearsarge/Mount Royal Academy have had to suffer through a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Newport 42-14. Kearsarge/Mount Royal Academy were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Finally capturing their first win of the season, Kearsarge/Mount Royal Academy advanced to 1-6. Newport are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-7.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Kearsarge/Mount Royal Academy will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Somersworth. Kearsarge/Mount Royal Academy will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. As for Newport, they will face off against Laconia. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
