Softball Recap: Viborg/Hurley Cougars vs. Gayville-Volin Raiders        
        
		
            
 Viborg/Hurley was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight  loss. They lost  25-4 to the Gayville-Volin Raiders.
 For Gayville-Volin's part, they got a  massive  performance out of  Paisley Dimmer, who  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with four  runs, two  stolen bases,  and four  RBI. Dimmer is crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: she's   stolen at least one every time she's  taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Andrea Miller, who  went 3-for-3 with a  home run, four  runs,  and three  RBI.
 Viborg/Hurley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Gayville-Volin, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Viborg/Hurley will  take on McCook Central/Montrose at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Gayville-Volin, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Parkston at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday.
