Basketball Recap: College View Academy Has No Trouble Against Dorchester

College View Academy won the last time they faced Dorchester and things went their way on Tuesday too. The College View Academy Eagles were the clear victor by a 56-32 margin over the Dorchester Longhorns. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Dorchester still got an impressive performance from Chase Tachovsky, who posted 13 points and seven boards. What's more, Tachovsky also racked up four assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2023.

College View Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Dorchester, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. College View Academy will venture away from home to take on Parkview Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Parkview Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something College View Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dorchester, they will head out to face off against Nebraska Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
