Soccer Game Preview: MacArthur vs. Nimitz

The MacArthur Cardinals will venture away from home to face off against the Nimitz Vikings at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Tuesday, MacArthur didn't have quite enough to beat Lake Ridge and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Cardinals have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Nimitz managed to keep up with Rockwall-Heath until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Nimitz lost 3-0 to Rockwall-Heath.

Nimitz's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for MacArthur, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
