Bingham faced Corner Canyon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Miners sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  2-1  win over the Chargers. The  victory was familiar territory for the Miners, who have now won four  matchups in a row.
 Boston Snyder tossed a big game,   tossing six innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits.
 On the hitting side, Bingham's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Kam Beck, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  double. Beck has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times he's  played.
Bingham's victory was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 13-4. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.6 runs across that stretch. As for Corner Canyon, their loss  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 11-6.
Bingham will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Chargers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
