Football Recap: McLean Tigers vs. Miami Warriors
If McLean was feeling good fresh off their 74-52 takedown of Springlake-Earth last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers were dealt an 88-39 defeat at the hands of the Miami Warriors on Friday. McLean lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Angel Vega, who picked up 114 receiving yards and four scores. Stran Henderson handled things on the ground, rushing for 95 yards.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for McLean, racking up 15 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Miles Reynolds, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
