The Carrizo Springs Wildcats will venture away from home to square off against the Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Carrizo Springs and six for Uvalde.

On Friday, Carrizo Springs came up short against Floresville and fell 59-51.

Meanwhile, Uvalde lost to Floresville on the road by a 51-34 margin on Tuesday.

Carrizo Springs' loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Uvalde, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.

Carrizo Springs strolled past Uvalde when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 57-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Carrizo Springs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
