Softball Recap: Clark Takes a Loss

After soaring to 20 runs the game before, Clark was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They lost 21-2 to the Legacy Longhorns. The Chargers have struggled against the Longhorns recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Clark's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-1. As for Legacy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

Coming up, Clark will welcome Desert Pines at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Clark is facing Desert Pines at the right time seeing as Desert Pines is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Legacy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Desert Oasis at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Legacy's pitchers better be ready for this one: Desert Oasis has averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season.
