Basketball Recap: Marion County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Howard Tech last Tuesday, Marion County came back down to earth. The Warriors were beaten by the Dade County Wolverines 68-34 on Friday. The Warriors lost against the Wolverines in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 45-38 score last time.

Marion County dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Dade County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Coming up, Marion County will head out to take on Chattanooga Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dade County, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against LaFayette at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Ramblers' defense has only allowed 29.7 points per game this season, so the Wolverines' offense will have their work cut out for them.
