Volleyball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt lost against Highland back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rough Riders came up short against the Hornets, falling 3-0. The Rough Riders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Roosevelt was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Highland's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-12, 25-13.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Highland, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5.

Roosevelt wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Coventry on the 4th. As for Highland, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Revere on the 7th.
