Basketball Recap: ROWVA/Williamsfield Wins Going Away Against Ridgewood [Alwood/Cambridge]

ROWVA/Williamsfield was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] on Tuesday. Everything went the ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars' way against the Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] Spartans as the ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars made off with a 64-43 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-10.

When it comes to explaining why Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] lost, don't look at Roy Sandberg. Despite the final result, he posted 16 points. Sandberg's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenden Bolduc, who earned eight points.

ROWVA/Williamsfield's win bumped their record up to 8-19. As for Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge], they now have a losing record at 13-14.

Coming up, ROWVA/Williamsfield will be playing at home against DePue at 6:00 p.m. on February 21st. Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
