Basketball Recap: Cedar Springs Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Cedar Springs lost a heartbreaker to Wyoming when they met back in January of 2016, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. The Cedar Springs Red Hawks took a 75-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wyoming Wolves. The Red Hawks haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Cedar Springs' defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-3. As for Wyoming, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Cedar Springs will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Allendale at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Wyoming, they will look to defend their home court on January 3, 2025 against South Christian at 7:30 p.m.
