Volleyball Recap: Boone Takes a Loss

Boone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Freedom Patriots, falling 3-0. The Braves were not able to make up for their defeat to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-9, 25-12.

Jeremiah Greenwood paced Boone's offense, picking up eight kills. Greenwood got some help from Jackson Ayoung-Chee and his five assists.

Boone's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Freedom, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-3.

Looking ahead, Boone will welcome Colonial at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Freedom, they will head out to square off against Innovation at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
