Baseball Recap: Grandview Heights' Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Grandview Heights was riding high fresh off their 12-1 takedown of Centennial last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bobcats lost 9-2 to the Columbus Academy Vikings on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bobcats have suffered since April 4, 2024.

Grandview Heights saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sam Bandy, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Grandview Heights fell to 2-1. As for Columbus Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

While Grandview Heights had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
