Football Game Preview: Arroyo Dons vs. Davis Sr. Blue Devils + How To Watch

The Arroyo Dons will venture away from home to face off against the Davis Sr. Blue Devils at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Arroyo is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Piedmont on Friday. The Dons took down the Highlanders 40-26.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Arroyo to victory, but perhaps none more so than Donald Buckley, who rushed for 73 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine carries. Robert Mcgehee made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Davis Sr.). Everything went their way against River Valley on Friday as they made off with a 47-22 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Blue Devils' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

The victory got Arroyo back to even at 2-2. As for Davis Sr., their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.
