Jason Fisher leads Wallace to victory over Wauneta-Palisade

The Wallace Wildcats had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 42-30 victory over Wauneta-Palisade. That's another feather in the cap for Wallace, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Jason Fisher was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Masen Messersmith, who scored 8 points along with 7 rebounds.

Wallace's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Wauneta-Palisade, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Wallace won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Maywood/Hayes Center at 7:20 p.m. on December 1st. As for Wauneta-Palisade, they will head out on the road to face off against Cambridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Cambridge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Thursday.
