After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Heritage, Rolesville was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took down the Franklinton Red Rams 70-53. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rams also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Rolesville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayvon Chestnut, who posted 16 points. Jacob Clemons was another key player, putting up 14 points.

When it comes to explaining why Franklinton lost, don't look at Amahrian Ponton. Despite the final result, he had five points and eight steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Harrison Long, who earned ten points and five boards.

The victory got Rolesville back to even at 1-1. As for Franklinton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
