Volleyball Recap: Hagerman Comes Up Short

If Hagerman was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Capitan on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bobcats came up short against Fort Sumner/House on Friday, falling 3-0. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with Fort Sumner/House recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

While Hagerman ultimately came up short, they really made Fort Sumner/House work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21, 26-24.

Hagerman's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Fort Sumner/House, their win ended a seven-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hagerman will face off against Capitan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fort Sumner/House, after both having extra time off, they and Maxwell will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
