JSerra Catholic made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Servite, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Friars on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Friars back in March, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

JSerra Catholic was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14, 25-18.

William Spalding paced JSerra Catholic's offense, picking up 14 kills. Spalding got some help from Michael Nadruz and his 34 assists.

The victory made it two in a row for JSerra Catholic and bumps their season record up to 15-5. As for Servite, they now have a losing record of 14-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. JSerra Catholic will host Orange Lutheran at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Servite, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Mater Dei at 5:30 p.m. The Monarchs will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Friars surely won't give up without a fight.
