Spring Valley won the last time they faced South Charleston and Harrison Riggs did his part to make sure it happened again. The Timberwolves claimed a resounding 71-39 win over the Black Eagles with plenty of help from Riggs, who shot 86% from the field en route to 32 points along with eight assists and seven boards. He is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last 23 games he's played dating back to last season.

South Charleston lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brycen Orcutt, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Jacari Goode, who put up seven points and five assists.

Spring Valley has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 68.0 points this season. As for South Charleston, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
