Volleyball Recap: North Salinas Takes a Loss + How To Watch

North Salinas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Pajaro Valley Grizzlies. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Grizzlies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While North Salinas was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-16, 25-21.

North Salinas' defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Pajaro Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. North Salinas is set to square off against their familiar foe North Monterey County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pajaro Valley will take on rival Rancho San Juan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
