Recap: Catholic Central Irish vs. Madison Plains Golden Eagles
The Catholic Central Irish were the 37-29 winner over the Madison Plains Golden Eagles when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Catholic Central fell to Madison Plains 38-34. Catholic Central has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Madison Plains found their leader in underclassman Kenzie Vallery, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. The match was Vallery's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cressa Williams, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds.
Catholic Central now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Madison Plains, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 1-2.
Catholic Central will head out on the road to face off against Greenon at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Madison Plains, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Cedarville at 7:30 p.m.
