Belleview falls despite strong effort from Demarcus Mcdaniel

Recap: Belleview Rattlers vs. Palatka Panthers
The Belleview Rattlers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their 12th straight loss. They took a hard 58-43 fall against Palatka. While losing is never fun, Belleview can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 701st, while Palatka is ranked 122nd).
Despite the loss, Belleview still got an impressive performance from Demarcus Mcdaniel, who scored 12 points. Jaylen Wilson was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Belleview's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Palatka, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.
Belleview will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Weir at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Palatka's road trip will continue as they head out to face Clay at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th.
