Volleyball Recap: St. Albans Wins Going Away Against Chapmanville Regional

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Winfield, St. Albans was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Chapmanville Regional Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-12, 25-21.

St. Albans found their leader in freshman Aaliyah Reynolds, who had 11 aces and eight digs. Morgan McVicker was another key player, getting three digs and two aces.

St. Albans was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

St. Albans' victory bumped their record up to 26-18-1. As for Chapmanville Regional, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-22 record this season.

As of now, neither St. Albans nor Chapmanville Regional have any future games scheduled.
