Basketball Recap: Mulvane Comes Up Short

Mulvane was the 46-44 winner over Labette County when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Mulvane Wildcats fell to the Labette County Grizzlies 42-37. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mulvane fell to 2-1. As for Labette County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mulvane will venture away from home to take on Independence on Saturday. As for Labette County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
