Baseball Recap: Jesuit Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Jesuit and Del Oro squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Jesuit had to settle for second. They fell 10-6 to the Golden Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-8 loss on Monday.

Cade Colombara made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Jesuit and nudges their season record down to 21-11. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Del Oro, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 23-9.

As of now, neither Jesuit nor the Golden Eagles have any future games scheduled.
