Volleyball Recap: Bishop Ward Takes a Loss

The Bishop Ward Cyclones came up short against the Lutheran Knights on Thursday and fell 3-1. The Cyclones have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Bishop Ward started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-20, 25-16, 25-23.

Bishop Ward's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Lutheran, they moved to 2-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Bishop Ward wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 0-0 tie against Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy on the 22nd. As for Lutheran, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against St. Paul Lutheran on the 22nd.
