Mater Dei Catholic was led to victory by Victor Voneiff and Jordan Dumaran. Voneiff threw for 129 yards and one TD while completing 75% of his passes, while Dumaran gained 92 total yards. Those 129 passing yards gave Voneiff a new career-high.

Mater Dei Catholic now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Chula Vista, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
