Basketball Recap: Peotone Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Peotone waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Grant Park Dragons with points to spare, taking the game 67-52. The Blue Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dragons, too.

Peotone pushed their record up to 15-13 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points over those games. As for Grant Park, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-19 record this season.

Peotone will head out to square off against Beecher at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Grant Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
