Volleyball Recap: Strayhorn Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Strayhorn can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Walnut Wildcats on Saturday. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

While Strayhorn was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Walnut's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-1, 25-7, 25-12.

Strayhorn's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Walnut, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-3-1 record this season.

Strayhorn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Walnut, they will face off against Philadelphia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
