Football Game Preview: Akron-Fairgrove vs. Owendale-Gagetown

Akron-Fairgrove will challenge Owendale-Gagetown on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Akron-Fairgrove aren't expected to win, but seeing as the odds didn't stop them last game, maybe the team has another upset up their sleeve.

Their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Akron-Fairgrove, but their most recent match may have softened the blow. They were gifted an easy victory last Friday as Carsonville-Port Sanilac wound up forfeiting 0-2.

Owendale-Gagetown ended up forfeiting their contest against Onekama 0-2.

Akron-Fairgrove's win lifted them to 1-2 while Owendale-Gagetown's loss dropped them down to 2-4. Two forfeits in a row aren't very likely, so Akron-Fairgrove better be ready for a battle.
