Baseball Recap: King's Academy Gets the Win

King's Academy won against Scotts Valley on Saturday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Knights beat the Hillsdale Fighting Knights by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 12-2. The Knights have beaten the Fighting Knights the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Fighting Knights has come to flipping the script.

Justin Cho was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Johnson, who went 1-for-3 with four RBI and one run.

King's Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .550. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hillsdale only posted an OBP of .355.

King's Academy's record is now 11-9. As for Hillsdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.

King's Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against Hillsdale: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
