Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Corinth). They put the hurt on the Northville Falcons with a sharp 18-8 win on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Riverhawks as they're now sitting on three straight.
Gage Bardin made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched four innings while giving up three earned (and six unearned) runs off four hits. Bardin was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one RBI.
In other batting news, Keegan Baker was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI. Corinth is undefeated when Baker posts two or more runs, but 0-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Edward Maguire, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
