Basketball Game Preview: Medora Hornets vs. Lighthouse Christian Academy Lions

For the first time this season, Medora will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They are taking a road trip to challenge the Lighthouse Christian Academy Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Medora will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Shawe Memorial, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Hornets managed a 54-48 win over the Hilltoppers on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, in a tight matchup that could have gone either way, Lighthouse Christian Academy made off with a 39-38 victory over Clarksville. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Lighthouse Christian Academy has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Medora, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Medora strolled past Lighthouse Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 84-66. Do the Hornets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
