Mariemont entered their tilt with Roger Bacon on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 3-1. Given Mariemont's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 39th, while Roger Bacon are ranked 248th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Santino Serger and Aidan Gross scored all three of Mariemont's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 27 goals.

Mariemont's victory bumped their record up to 17-2-1. As for Roger Bacon, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10-2.
