Given Miramonte's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 207th, while Acalanes is ranked 470th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Marcus Robinson, who shot 4-for-9 from long range and dropped a double-double on 31 points and 11 rebounds. That's the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jack Quinnild, who scored 12 points.

This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Miramonte have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 33.5 rebounds per game.
