Basketball Recap: Walla Walla Valley Academy Takes a Loss

Walla Walla Valley Academy lost against Riverside Christian back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Walla Walla Valley Academy Knights came up short against the Riverside Christian Crusaders, falling 80-54. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Riverside Christian to victory were Micah Morgan and Haydn Edwards. Morgan went 11 of 23 on his way to 25 points, while Edwards posted 21 points. With that strong performance, Edwards is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Rivera, who went 5 for 8 en route to 11 points.

Walla Walla Valley Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Riverside Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Walla Walla Valley Academy has already played their next game, a 71-53 defeat against Liberty Christian on the 22nd. Riverside Christian has also already played their next matchup (against DeSales), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
