Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Highmore/Harrold walked away with it. They walked away with a 61-49 win over the Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers on Tuesday. The game was the first time the Pirates have beaten the Battlers on their court since December 17, 2020.

Despite the loss, Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] saw an underclassman step up: freshman FINLEE HEIEN went 9-for-20 on her way to 19 points and three steals. What's more, HEIEN also posted a 45% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. PEYTON STEVENS was another key player, putting up 13 points and seven boards.

Highmore/Harrold's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven], their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.
