Basketball Recap: Franklin Sets Scoring Season-High Against Hayesville

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Franklin). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Hayesville Yellowjackets 91-61. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Jack Jack Teesateskie continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points. The contest was his seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Max McClure, who posted 13 points.

Franklin was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Franklin is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.9 points per game. As for Hayesville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Franklin will be playing in front of their home fans against East Henderson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
