Baseball Game Preview: Skyridge Falcons vs. American Fork Cavemen

For the second straight game, Skyridge will face off against American Fork. The Falcons will challenge the Cavemen at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Skyridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

Skyridge is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: American Fork, who was ranked first at the time (Skyridge was ranked 14th). The Falcons fell just short of the Cavemen by a score of 8-7 on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Cavemen: they've now lost four in a row.

Miles Robinson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-4. He also scored two runs, which is notable because Skyridge is 6-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 6-7 otherwise.
