Basketball Recap: Unity Comes Up Short

The Unity Eagles were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 42-37 to the Spooner Rails.

Unity's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Spooner, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Unity will take on Hayward in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Spooner and Cameron will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rails will need to watch out since the Comets have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
