Basketball Recap: St. Edward Comes Up Short

St. Edward and St. Ignatius squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but St. Edward had to settle for second. They lost 73-49 to the St. Ignatius Wildcats. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost six in a row.

St. Edward's loss dropped their record down to 17-9. As for St. Ignatius, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-4.

As of now, neither St. Edward nor St. Ignatius have any future games scheduled.
