Meadowbrook and New Lexington are an even 4-4 against one another since March of 2021, but likely not for long. The Colts will be playing at home against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. New Lexington took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Meadowbrook, who comes in off a win.

Meadowbrook is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 14-5 margin over Shenandoah on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Colts needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Austin Warner was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. That double was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Khune, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

Meadowbrook was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .424. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, New Lexington's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Circleville.

New Lexington saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Hahn, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Meadowbrook's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for New Lexington, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Meadowbrook might still be hurting after the 12-0 loss they got from New Lexington in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Colts avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
