Football Game Preview: Pymatuning Valley Lakers vs. Cardinal Huskies

Pymatuning Valley hasn't had much luck against Cardinal recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Lakers will head out to take on the Huskies at 7:00 p.m. Cardinal took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pymatuning Valley, who comes in off a win.

Pymatuning Valley will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up seven points last Friday, then bounced right back against Windham on Friday. The Lakers took their game with ease, bagging a 44-0 victory over the Bombers. The Lakers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 30 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Cardinal fell victim to Grand Valley and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Mustangs, falling 48-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Huskies have suffered against the Mustangs since September 8, 2017.

Cardinal's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Pymatuning Valley, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
