Basketball Recap: Caverna Comes Up Short

Caverna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat. They were dealt a 78-27 loss at the hands of the Adair County Indians. The Colonels were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-10.

Caverna's defeat dropped their record down to 3-25. As for Adair County, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caverna will take on Metcalfe County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Metcalfe County will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Caverna surely won't give up without a fight. As for Adair County, they will be playing at home against Campbellsville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
