Cy-Fair and Cypress Creek are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Bobcats will welcome the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cypress Creek suffered their closest defeat since February 13th on Tuesday. They fell just short of Memorial by a score of 9-7. The Cougars have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Kamryn Lincoln was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Lincoln was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Brianna Arevalo was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Avery Fogleman, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Cypress Creek's loss dropped their record down to 10-13-1. As for Cy-Fair, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-8.
