Softball Recap: Bonney Lake Wins Going Away Against Bethel

Bonney Lake never let their opponents score on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Bethel Bison. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by eight runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Morgan Berg, who went 3-for-4 with two triples and three runs. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kendell Thomas, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Bonney Lake's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Bethel, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Bonney Lake will face off against Emerald Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Jaguars have averaged an impressive 12.5 runs per game this season. As for Bethel, they will challenge Spanaway Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bison are facing the Sentinels at the right time seeing as the Sentinels are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
