Softball Game Preview: Brackett Tigers vs. Knippa Crushers

The Brackett Tigers will face off against the Knippa Crushers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 20 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Brackett and nine for Knippa.

Friday just wasn't the day for Brackett's offense. They came up short against Charlotte on Friday, falling 31-0.

Meanwhile, Knippa lost 17-2 to Charlotte on Tuesday.

Knippa saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jazzlean Gomez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and two RBI. Those two RBI gave Gomez a new career-high. Sophia Suarez was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

Brackett's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Knippa, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.
