Lansing Christian saw some tournament action on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 57-40 victory over the Whitmore Lake Trojans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pilgrims.

Lansing Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ethan Damesworth, who shot 46% from the field to rack up 19 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists. With that strong performance, Damesworth is now averaging an impressive 15.8 points per game. Another player making a difference was Collin Leavitt, who posted 14 points along with seven boards and three steals.

Lansing Christian's victory bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Whitmore Lake, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-6.

Lansing Christian has already played their next game, a 65-47 loss against Everest Collegiate on the 4th. Whitmore Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
