Recap: Provine Rams vs. North Pike Jaguars
On Friday, Provine was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 23-18 to North Pike. Provine has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
North Pike got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Xzavion Nunn out in front who threw for 187 yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Clark, who picked up 84 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Provine's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for North Pike, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
Provine will head out on the road to face off against Natchez at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Pike, they will be playing at home against Brookhaven at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
